SAS Lubricants Co-Packing Success
Situation
South Atlantic Services (SAS) is a contract manufacturing and contract packaging firm. The company was approached with the concept to package lubricants into bag-in-box. Accordingly, SAS was introduced to Scholle IPN to establish a packaging line in order to bring this innovative method of packaging to a brand new market.
Opportunity
SAS and Scholle IPN worked together to develop a complete bag-in-box packaging line that included three Scholle IPN SureFill® fillers in a 100,000 square foot production facility dedicated to the bag-in-box venture.
Result
SAS, through their partnership with Scholle, now packages a variety of bag-in-box lubricant products to meet the needs of some of the world’s major oil companies.
